Overview

The Chambal Riverfront in Kota, Rajasthan is a prime example of great urban development happening in cities. It has transformed 6kms of neglected land into a vibrant tourist attraction. Chambal River Front has about 26 ghats, representing a unique architectural style of India. One of my favourites is Rajputana Ghat. It shows the art and culture of 9 regions of Rajasthan. Sahitya Ghat houses statues of renowned authors and a library with 1000 of books. Moreover Riverfront restoration projects receive the vital ecosystem and reconnects communities with rivers. LED Garden in the west side of Chambal River Front is a beautiful display of art, light and horticulture.
